Eleven have been retained by a Chemicals Manufacturer based in the North West of the UK, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Chemical Engineer to lead and drive innovative chemical engineering projects. This pivotal role demands a proactive leader with a strong technical background and the ability to oversee complex projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage chemical engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance process efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Skills and Competencies:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline; Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in the chemicals industry, with a proven track record of leading complex engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, process optimisation, and scale-up methodologies.

  • Lead the design, development, and optimisation of chemical processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
