Eleven have been retained by a leading battery manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Graduate Chemist. In this lab-based role, you will be instrumental in the development and analysis of innovative battery materials, working closely with our material development team to drive progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute small-scale experimental studies based on feedback from the material development team.
  • Record and report experimental designs and results, while developing and implementing best practices.
  • Contribute to the planning of laboratory-based reactor systems for experimental purposes.
  • Handle powders and reactor equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Operate reactors using computerized control systems, recommending and testing improved control measures.
  • Provide written and oral reports to the material scientists within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, including conducting risk assessments.
Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, applied science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory-based environment.
  • Proficiency in experimental planning and execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Exceptional time management and record-keeping abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards in the laboratory.
