We are currently searching for an Asset Engineer which will have a focus on solar PV to join the team of one of our key clients, based in Madrid.
In this role you will review and assess the performance of the assets under management, ensuring any technical issues are rectified, and the commercial/financial impacts are addressed and communicated within the team.
Our client are one of Europe's largest fund managers that focuses exclusively on investment management in renewable energy, with their main focus beig on wind farms, solar PV, and hydro power plants. They are backed by one of the world's largest asset management companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support on the technical performance, issues and outages, construction oversight, and revamping and repowering of the solar PV farms
- Support the PV development team for the pipeline of new build projects, in addition to supporting the investment team on technical aspects of acquisition, financing, re-financing, and divestment of assets
- Contract management (EPC, O&M, TCMA), budgeting development and application of plant improvements
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of experience within relevant fields, of asset management, construction or operational management experience of solar PV plants
- Understanding of project finance transaction and application
- Fluent in Spanish and English (any other languages are a bonus)
