Field Based Electrical Engineer

Eleven have been retained exclusively by a Battery company based in Boston, Massachusetts to find them a Field Based Electrical Engineer.

They are looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer who has extensive proven industrial experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of High Voltage Systems, and ideally within Energy Distribution and Storage.
 
The company is based in Boston, so ideally you would be located locally, but the position involves extensive travel within the US / abroad due to the client facing nature of the role, so could be done fully Remotely.

We need someone that is as technically gifted, as they are personable, as the position is the front line of customer solutions, and resolutions.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of related professional experience, with a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in high voltage testing methodologies and equipment (e.g., AC/DC hipot testing, partial discharge testing)
• Strong understanding of electrical safety principles and practices (NFPA 70E), and of high voltage components (e.g., transformers, cables, insulators)
• Familiarity with relevant national and international electrical standards (e.g., IEEE, UL)
