Accounts Assistant

A fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a highly successful and rapidly growing international business based in London.

Due to continued growth an Accounts Assistant is required to join a high calibre and well-established finance team.


Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Inputting of invoices into SAP accounting system;
• Reconciliation of bank accounts;
• Cash flows
• Prepayments/Accruals;
• Maintaining Fixed Assets Register and Depreciation;
• Creating sales ledger invoices and bank letters;
• VAT return
• Year end audit preparation and accounts
• Business analysis and Group reporting

 
Skills & Experience:
 
Candidates for this role should be working towards professional accountancy qualifications and have gained 1-2 years of finance experience at entry level. Applicants will, however, need to demonstrate a pro-active, can-do attitude to join this small team at such a pivotal time for the group.
 
 

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Flexible & extremely adaptable; Thrives in changing, high pressured environments
• Microsoft Excel skills
• Must be able to use SAGE line 50 and SAP
• Experience in energy sector beneficial
