Solar Project Developer

We are currently working with a Pan-European Renewable Energy company with strong ESG principals.  They are currently looking for a Solar Project Developer in the Netherlands to join their growing team. 

What you’ll do:

• Support the coordination and delivery of various workstreams related to the due diligence, development and implementation of Wind, Solar and Battery projects in the Netherlands;
• Become a go-to Wind, Solar and Battery project development expert in the team, bringing the expertise needed to support our BD, M&A teams and be a trusted counterpart to our local development partners;
• Work with other functions, development partners, external advisors and equipment suppliers across throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and manage project sites and the right external experts where needed for significant due diligence, design, engineering, or other technical activities
• Maintain and extend your professional qualifications and skillset as needed to adapt to our expanding business focus and needs.

What you’ll need:

• You have a degree in the fields of Geography, Regional-, Spatial- or Landscape-Planning, Renewable Energy Engineering, Environmental Sciences or comparable qualification
• First professional experience in the planning and development of photovoltaic, wind energy or battery storage projects or spatial and environmental planning is an advantage
• Independent, committed, goal- and team-oriented working style with solution-oriented thinking
• Fluent German (C1) and good (B1) written and spoken English, another European language would be an advantage
• Evening events and travelling with occasional overnight stays are no problem for you
