Senior R&D Chemist

Eleven are partnered with a trailblazing start-up, dedicated to decarbonisation, by developing novel technology to efficiently transform CO2 captured at heavy industry sites, into low-carbon polyester fabrics.

Backed by top climate tech Venture Capital funds, the company is expanding its European footprint by building its first-of-a-kind flagship demonstrator facility in Central Europe, as part of an EU-funded Project.

To support this project, they are now looking to identify an experienced, Senior R&D Chemist.

Here, you will work closely with other R&D chemists and R&D engineers, principally to support the manufacture and optimisation of heterogenous catalysts for batch reactors, while also establishing catalysts structure-to-activity relationships, to improve catalytic efficiency.

About You

• An MS or PhD in Chemistry, with 3+ years of professional experience in industrial chemistry is required, as well as a strong background in rational design of catalytic materials.
• Experience in catalysis, including laboratory scale development and scale-up
• Demonstrated knowledge in catalyst design and synthesis
• Able to perform kinetic studies of heterogenous catalyzed processes
