Senior Risk Manager – (Risk Department Lead)
Eleven are exclusively partnered with an oil trading business in London to recruit a Senior Risk Manager in London. The successful candidate should have a complete understanding of the Risk Control functional area and in-depth expertise in trading and trading operations.
 
The role will involve:

• Lead and manage the department Risk Control
• Maintenance of the risk rulebook, the risk procedure handbook, the annual plan and the trading mandates, as well as monitoring adherence to the guidelines defined therein
• Daily monitoring and reporting to management on limit utilisation and risk exposure, in particular regarding market price and counterparty risk in a quantitative manner (e.g. VaR and PFE)
• Responsibility for the accurate risk measurement of trading positions in the Energy Trading and Risk Management system (ETRM)

 
Operational excellence: Upholding of transparent, fast, and reliable risk control processes
Management role: Leadership responsibility for Oil Risk Control department with budget responsibility.
Conceptual leadership: Creating, enhancing and adapting the risk framework tailored to the existing and arising needs
Highest level of integrity: Intellectually honest and uncompromising risk assessment encountered within current or envisaged risk-taking activities
