Carbon Solids Handling Engineer

We are currently operating with an innovative clean energy business that are producing ground breaking technology to facilitate the production of hydrogen in the current market, opening up extensive market opportunities for the use of Carbon. They are a heavily funded company that are looking to strengthen their engineering team with a Carbon Solids Handling Engineer following recent success with demonstrating their patented technology, looking to capitalise on market growth with innovative technology applications. They are offering an extremely competitive package, with the opportunity to join a forward thinking clean energy business.

You should:

• Be educated to HND and BTEC as a minimum (degree qualification preferred) in chemical or mechanical engineering
• Have 5 years plus experience in chemicals, powders, process plants and carbon etc
• Have previous experience in product development processes, dealing with activities such as testing procedures, process models and operating procedures etc

You will be:

• Focusing on the carbon development within the engineering team, supervising other members and contractors
• Producing quality carbon formations by delivering chemical and mechanical engineering modelling of the product
• Consult with other departments in providing guidance and direction on the carbon markets, maximising market applications
