Lead Process Engineer

Eleven are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly emerging player in the carbon capture industry, whose disruptive, next generation technology, has the capacity to capture and remove CO2 from flue gas with unsurpassed energetic efficiency.
Having successfully commissioned a bench-scale prototype, the company are now moving to the next phase of their development, in partnership with some of the leading names in industry, to pilot its technology.

As a consequence, there is a need to build out their process engineering capability, with the appointment of a Lead Process Engineer, to act as the technical focal point to ensure smooth design and delivery of pilot plant units, working with external partners to deliver early engineering studies, through to EPC projects.

You Will

• Manage pilot plant design and delivery.
• Work with partners to deliver process engineering studies, FEEDs, and EPC Projects.
• Work with the performance team to develop design and operation philosophies.
• Undertake detailed calculations to create designs and be responsible for the accuracy of
• these calculations.

About You

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience – Chartered Status preferred.
•  
• Proven record in project delivery with experience in concept/front-end design, detailed design, and EPC projects.

• Knowledge of carbon capture and processes such as ammonia, methanol, synthetic fuels production will be valuable.
• Experience working on and leading Studies, FEED, and EPC projects associated with refining and petro/chemicals within the Oil & Gas sector, gas processing, energy generation or CCS
