Construction Manager (Owner Rep)

Our client is seeking experienced Construction Managers/Superintendents to oversee and act as owners' representatives for multiple brownfield sites in Illinois. These sites are old coal sites that have been repurposed for solar and BESS projects, with AC capacity ranging from 30-60MW.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all construction activities on the project sites
• Act as owners' representatives and liaise with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Provide technical advice and guidance to contractors and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Report to the PM

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager/Superintendent on large-scale utility construction projects
• Experience in solar and/or BESS projects is highly desirable
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of contractors and subcontractors
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Contract Details:
This position will be on a contract basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
