LNG Carbon Analyst

We are working with a global energy major looking to hire an LNG Carbon Analyst to join their global LNG team, to be based in London or Singapore.

As part of the transition of LNG towards Net Zero, you will work closely with stakeholders from across the business, including LNG traders and originators, playing a key role towards improving existing/developing new activities, supporting strategic carbon-related initiatives within global LNG. You will be responsible for developing processes/methodologies for acquiring, calculating, recording and reporting any carbon-related obligations within LNG contracts, communicating any changes within reporting standards/regulations likely to impact LNG, and recommending strategic changes. You will provide support on LNG carbon-offset opportunities and long-term carbon-related agreements.

You bring with you experience in carbon-emissions projects, knowledge of Life Cycle and GHG reporting (IPCC Assessment Reports, ISO standards) and an understanding of climate change regulations, policies, and actions. Experience in LNG is not a requirement, although an understanding would be preferable.
