Business Development Manager - Petrochemicals

Our client a major international oil & energy business is currently looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to develop / expand their petrochemical business.

Overseeing the negotiation, preparation, identification and evaluation of potential sources of petrochemicals business by leveraging trading flows, asset production flows and their global footprint for maximum synergistic opportunities.

You will work closely with trading, downstream and global teams to develop new business for petrochemicals, including aromatics, paraffins, polymers etc, to promote long-term sustainable business for the company.

The right candidate will have a long-standing background working in the petrochemical markets in either a trading or an origination capacity for either a producer or trading company.

A solid understanding of the oil & petrochemical fundamentals – products, grades, qualities, geopolitical & environmental influences is essential.
